OMG – Album Origin Story
Long before TikTok, Tinder, and Twitter, the gods were already behaving badly. They loved, they
lied, they meddled, and they mourned, not in heaven, but on Olympus. OMG is the brainchild of
SixFootStilts’ fascination with the Greek pantheon not as mythic relics, but as mirrors. What if
the old gods never left? What if their dramas, egos, and passions are still playing out in politics,
relationships, celebrity culture, and the messy business of being human?
This album is not about worship it’s about recognition. The divine and the dysfunctional have
always danced together. And in these songs, the gods are less marble statue and more cautionary
tale, spiritual archetype, or even Instagram influencer. With lyrical wit and mythic mischief,
OMG reboots the classics and reminds us that ancient stories still throb with modern pulse.
Album Description
OMG is a playful, powerful reimagining of Greek mythology a concept album where Mount
Olympus meets the modern world. With each track, SixFootStilts brings a different mythic figure
to life, casting them into today’s spotlight to see what truths still shine… and what shadows
linger.
Persephone dances between life and death, caught in the push and pull of identity. Athena
sharpens her intellect against injustice. Thea invokes ancient power in a fractured world.
Dionysus the original party god offers ecstasy and escape with a knowing grin. And Zeus?
Well… Zeus still thinks he’s in charge.
These aren’t dusty myths they’re living metaphors. OMG is both homage and satire, mythology
and mirror. It’s ancient wisdom remixed for an age of chaos and charisma, reminding us that the
gods never really left they just got better lighting.

Apollo strong and mighty God played a most pivotal role
